License agreement

This agreement is between you and Growthlatic (growthlatic.com), run by Ahsan Moeen. It applies to every copy of the Quotelatic software.

1. What you may do

• Install and use Quotelatic on one live website for each license you hold.
• Use extra copies on test addresses (such as localhost or staging. addresses) that are not open to the public.
• Change the code, texts and design for your own website.
• Move your license to another website by removing it from the old one.
• If you build websites for clients, install it for a client using a license bought for that client's website.

2. What you may not do

• Sell, give away, share or publish the software or your license key, changed or unchanged.
• Offer Quotelatic as a hosted service to others, or use one license for several live websites.
• Remove or get around the license check.
• Remove copyright notices in the code.

3. How long it lasts

A monthly or yearly license is valid while your subscription is active, plus a short grace period. A lifetime license does not expire. Lifetime licenses include new versions for as long as we develop and sell Quotelatic. We may end a license that breaks this agreement.

4. Ownership

You get a license to use Quotelatic; you don't buy the software itself. Growthlatic keeps all rights in the software, its niches, texts and designs. The content you add and your customers' data are yours.

5. Open-source parts and outside services

Quotelatic uses open-source components that keep their own licenses, such as Leaflet (maps) and qrcode-generator (QR codes). The quote form can use outside services: map tiles and address search from OpenStreetMap, satellite images from Esri, and route distances from the OSRM project. These services have their own usage rules and may change or limit access. Quotelatic keeps working without them, but maps or distances may then be unavailable.

6. No warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is", as set out in our terms of service, which also limit our liability.
