Acceptable use policy
Quotelatic is for genuine service businesses collecting quote requests. These rules keep it safe for everyone.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy is part of our terms of service and applies to every account, quote form and business page.
1. Use Quotelatic for
- Collecting quote and job requests for your own, real service business.
- Showing your form on your own websites, social media, ads, printed materials and your page on quotelatic.com.
- If you build websites for clients: setting up Quotelatic for a client with a plan in that client's name.
2. Don't use Quotelatic to
- Pretend to be another business or person, or use names, logos or photos you don't have the right to use.
- Collect passwords, payment card numbers, bank details, government ID numbers, health information or other sensitive information.
- Mislead people, for example with false claims, fake reviews or prices you don't intend to honour.
- Send spam or unwanted messages to the people who contact you, or add them to lists they didn't agree to.
- Offer anything illegal, dangerous or adult, or anything that breaks the rights of others.
- Upload anything harmful, such as viruses or code meant to attack or track visitors.
- Get around limits or security, test our systems for weaknesses without our written permission, or overload the service.
- Resell, rent or share your account, or run several businesses on one plan.
3. What we may do
If we believe an account breaks this policy, we may hide its business page, take its form offline, remove content, or suspend or close the account, as set out in our terms of service. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first. To report misuse, use "Report this page" on a business page or write to [email protected].
4. Open-source parts and outside services
Quotelatic uses open-source components that keep their own licenses, such as Leaflet (maps) and qrcode-generator (QR codes). Quote forms can use outside services: map tiles and address search from OpenStreetMap, satellite images from Esri, and route distances from the OSRM project. These services have their own usage rules and may change or limit access. Forms keep working without them, but maps or distances may then be unavailable.
