Why these questions
- Make, model and year decide the exact glass part.
- Features (camera behind the mirror, sensors, heated glass, head-up display) change the glass and may need camera recalibration.
- Small chips can often be repaired instead of replacing the glass.
- Mobile or workshop decides where you send the technician.
3Set it up#
- Choose Windshield Replacement in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Windshield Replacement, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Region & photos: keep Minimum photos at 1. A close-up of the damage helps you decide repair or replace.
- Settings → Form fields: remove "At my home or work" if you only work at your workshop.

5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Damage: Shattered / broken is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job; Crack is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Features: Camera behind the mirror, Head-up display is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Service: Replace the glass is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Where: shown for quick reading.
- Insurance: shown for quick reading.
- Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
- Appointment: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
What to look at first
- Shattered is flagged urgent: the car may not be safe to drive.
