Why these questions
- Home size tells you the truck size and crew.
- Floor and lift at both ends decide how long loading and unloading take.
- Special items (piano, safe, antiques) need extra people or equipment.
- Parking close to both homes avoids long carries.
3Set it up#
- Choose Moving in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Moving, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Region & photos: set the Furthest bookable date to at least 180 days. Moves are often planned months ahead.
- Settings → Form fields: under Any special items? use "Edit choices" to add items you often move, like hot tubs or motorbikes.
- Settings → Page texts: mention in the FAQ how you protect furniture and floors.

5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Home: 4 bedrooms, 5+ bedrooms, Office is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Access (from): 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor or higher is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Access (to): 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor or higher is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Special items: Piano, Safe is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Distance: worked out by road between the two addresses; highlighted from 150 km as a long trip.
- Move: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
- Parking: Only at one, No, long carry at both is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Packing: shown for quick reading.
What to look at first
- 4+ bedrooms or office are bigger jobs: check them first.
- Higher floors without a lift at either end need more crew.
- Piano or safe may need special equipment.
- Distance decides whether it's a local or long-distance move.

6Pricing your quote#
Moves are usually priced by crew time plus distance, or as a fixed price by home size.
- Estimate hours from home size, floors, lifts and parking at both ends.
- Add travel time or a per-km price for the distance.
- Add packing (hours and materials) and special items.
- For large homes, offer a video call or visit to confirm the volume.
These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
7Messages to customers#
Your quote message is filled in automatically when you send a quote on WhatsApp. This is the starter template (Settings → Page texts):

8Get more requests#
- Give your link to estate agents and letting agents.
- Post in local groups at the end of each month, when many people move.
9Launch checklist#
- Furthest bookable date at least 180 days.
- Packing and storage explained if offered.
- Area named in the banner.
- Send one test request from your phone and check it arrives by WhatsApp and email.
