Why these questions

  • Budget range saves time: you know straight away if the job fits your business.
  • Timeline separates urgent jobs from people who are just planning.
  • Photos of the whole garden show size, slopes and what's already there.

3Set it up#

  1. Choose Landscaping in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Landscaping, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
  2. Settings → Requests: set your currency. The budget options use it.
  3. Settings → Form fields: adjust the budget ranges to typical prices in your area.
  4. Settings → Form fields: remove services you don't offer.

Recommended theme: Minimal

Garden design is about taste. Minimal's light, spacious design suits a design-led business, especially with a good banner photo of your work.

Make them yours

  • Use a strong photo of a finished garden as your banner photo.
  • Mention design visits in Why choose us if you offer them.

5Reading a request#

Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.

  • Services: Garden design is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Budget: Over $15,000 is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job; Not sure yet is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Start: As soon as possible is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Area: flagged by size (anything above 100 m² stands out).
  • Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
  • Site visit: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
  • Location: shows whether the customer set an exact map pin, which makes directions easy.

What to look at first

  • Budget and timeline together show how serious and how big the job is.
  • Photos show slopes, access and existing features.
  • Just planning requests can get a friendly reply with your portfolio and a follow-up later.

6Pricing your quote#

Landscaping is often quoted after a visit; use the form to qualify and prepare.

  • For simple jobs (lawn care, cleanup), give a price from the area and photos.
  • For design and building, offer a design visit and give a range first.
  • Match the solution to the budget range the customer chose.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.

7Messages to customers#

Your quote message is filled in automatically when you send a quote on WhatsApp. This is the starter template (Settings → Page texts):
