Why these questions

  • Roughly how much? (single item to full truck) is the main driver of your price.
  • Where are the items? and stairs tell you how long the job takes and how many people you need.
  • Special items (mattresses, tyres, paint, electronics) often have extra disposal fees.
  • Photos of the pile and the access route let you check the load size.

3Set it up#

  1. Choose Junk Removal in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Junk Removal, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
  2. Settings → Region & photos: keep Minimum photos at 1. A photo of the pile is the best way to check the load.
  3. Settings → Form fields: rename the load sizes if you price by cubic yards or by your own truck sizes.
  4. Settings → Page texts: in Why choose us, mention recycling or donating only if you really do it.

Recommended theme: Classic

Junk removal is quick and practical. Classic's colourful tiles with icons make choosing items and load size fast on a phone.

Make them yours

  • Add your service area to the banner text, for example "Same-week junk removal in Austin and nearby".
  • Use the header badges for what customers care about most: price before you lift, sweep-up after, and how soon you can come.

5Reading a request#

Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.

  • Load: Full truck is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Items: Construction debris is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Access: Basement / loft is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Stairs: 2 floors, 3+ floors is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Special items: Paint / chemicals is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
  • Collection: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
  • Location: shows whether the customer set an exact map pin, which makes directions easy.

What to look at first

  • Load size decides the price band; check it against the photos.
  • Stairs with 3+ floors and no lift, or items inside the home, need more people and time.
  • Special items may need separate disposal; price them separately.
  • Preferred date today or tomorrow is flagged: these customers usually book the first company that answers.

6Pricing your quote#

Most junk removal is priced by how much of your truck the load fills, plus extras for heavy, difficult or special items.

  • Set a price for each load size (single item, quarter, half, full truck) that covers disposal fees, fuel and labour.
  • Add for stairs without a lift, long carries and items inside the home.
  • Add each special item's disposal fee (mattresses, tyres, paint, electronics).
  • Say the price is for the amount in the photos, and that it's confirmed when you arrive.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
