Why these questions

  • Number and size of horses decide the vehicle.
  • How it loads: nervous loaders need extra time.
  • Documents (passport, vaccinations, health certificate for abroad) must be ready before travel.
  • Return trips and going abroad are bigger jobs.

3Set it up#

  1. Choose Horse Transport in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Horse Transport, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
  2. Settings → Region & photos: km or miles.
  3. Settings → Form fields: remove "Going abroad" if you only travel within the country.

Recommended theme: Professional

Horse owners want calm, careful professionals. Professional's ordered form builds that trust.

Make them yours

  • Describe your vehicle and how the horses travel in Why choose us.
  • Explain document requirements in the FAQ in general terms.

5Reading a request#

Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.

  • Horses: flagged by size (anything above 1 horses stands out).
  • Loading: Nervous / needs time is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Trip: Return trip is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Extras: Going abroad is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
  • Distance: worked out by road between the two addresses; highlighted from 300 km as a long trip.
  • Travel: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.

What to look at first

  • More than 1 horse is flagged.
  • Nervous loaders are flagged: allow time.
  • Return trip and going abroad are flagged as bigger jobs.
  • Check documents before confirming.

6Pricing your quote#

Price by distance, number of horses and trip type.

  • A base price plus a price per km/mile.
  • Add for each extra horse.
  • Return trips: both legs and any waiting time.
  • Add overnight stabling and international paperwork.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.

7Messages to customers#

Your quote message is filled in automatically when you send a quote on WhatsApp. This is the starter template (Settings → Page texts):

Hi {name}, thank you for your request {ref} ({title}). Our price for the trip is *{amount}*. Reply YES to book the travel date. {business}
