Why these questions

  • Largest item decides one or two people.
  • Floors and lifts at both ends decide the time.
  • Private seller collections need the item paid for and ready.
  • Assembly and taking away old furniture are extras.

Make them yours

  • Mention two-person teams and assembly if you offer them.
  • Name your area in the banner.

5Reading a request#

Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.

  • Items: flagged by size (anything above 3 items stands out).
  • Largest item: Very large or heavy is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Access (from): 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor or higher is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Access (to): 2nd floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor or higher is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
  • Extras: shown for quick reading.
  • Distance: worked out by road between the two addresses; highlighted from 150 km as a long trip.
  • Delivery: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.

What to look at first

  • Very large or heavy is flagged: two people.
  • Upper floors without a lift are flagged.
  • More than 3 items is a bigger job.

6Pricing your quote#

Price by distance, items and access.

  • A base price plus a price per km/mile.
  • Add a second person for large items.
  • Add for stairs without a lift at either end.
  • Add assembly and disposal.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.

7Messages to customers#

Your quote message is filled in automatically when you send a quote on WhatsApp. This is the starter template (Settings → Page texts):
