For electric vehicle charger installers. Customers give the property, where they'll charge, the distance from the fuse box, its location, the supply, how many chargers, which charger, features and their car, with photos of the fuse box and the charger spot.

Why these questions
- Cable run (distance from the fuse box) is the biggest part of the installation price.
- Parking type: shared or street parking may need permission.
- Fuse box photo shows whether the supply needs an upgrade.
- How many chargers separates homes from businesses.
3Set it up#
- Choose EV Charger Installation in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing EV Charger Installation, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Region & photos: choose metres or feet for the cable run.
- Settings → Form fields: under Anything you'd like? remove features your chargers don't have.
Recommended theme: Minimal
EV owners like modern, clean design. Minimal fits; Professional suits a business focus.

- Mention grant schemes only if they exist and you're approved for them.

5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Cable run: flagged by size (anything above 10 m stands out).
- Parking: Shared parking, On the street is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Chargers: flagged by size (anything above 1 chargers stands out).
- Property: Business premises is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Supply: shown for quick reading.
- Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
- Install: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
What to look at first
- Cable run over 25 m is flagged: more cable and time.
- Shared or street parking is flagged: check permissions.
- More than 1 charger usually means a business job.

6Pricing your quote#
A standard install price plus cable run and extras.
- A standard price that includes a set cable length.
- Add per metre/foot beyond that.
- Add the charger if you supply it.
- Add supply upgrades or load management if the fuse box needs it.
These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
7Messages to customers#
