For driveway and paving contractors. Customers say if it's new or a replacement, the area (typed or drawn), the material, what will park on it and extras like drainage or edging.

The form has 2 steps, then sending. Everything below can be renamed, hidden or made optional in Settings → Form fields.

Why these questions
- Area and material set the base cost.
- Vans or heavy vehicles need a stronger base.
- Removing the old surface adds digging and disposal.
- Extras like drainage or a dropped kerb may need permission from the council in some areas.
3Set it up#
- Choose Driveway in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Driveway, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Region & photos: units and map start position.
- Settings → Form fields: remove materials you don't lay.
- Settings → Form fields: under Anything else? remove extras you don't offer, such as lighting.

4Page texts#
These starter texts are loaded with the niche. Make them yours in Settings → Page texts.

5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Area: flagged by size (anything above 40 m² stands out).
- Material: Not sure is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Job: shown for quick reading.
- Old surface: Yes is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Parking: Vans / heavy vehicles is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Site visit: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
- Location: shows whether the customer set an exact map pin, which makes directions easy.
What to look at first
- Heavy vehicles means a deeper base.
- Replacement with removal adds a lot of labour.
- Check a drawn area on the map.

6Pricing your quote#
Price per square metre or foot by material, plus preparation and extras.
- Price per m²/ft² for each material.
- Add excavation and disposal of the old surface.
- Add drainage, edging, lighting and dropped kerbs.
- Add for a reinforced base for heavy vehicles.
These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
7Messages to customers#
