Why these questions

  • Products and number of items give you a first price range.
  • Repair or new glass units are often smaller jobs: misted units can be replaced without changing the frame.
  • Timeline separates ready buyers from people getting prices.
  • Storeys affect access for upstairs windows.

3Set it up#

  1. Choose Double Glazing in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Double Glazing, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
  2. Settings → Form fields: remove frame materials and products you don't supply.
  3. Settings → Page texts: explain in the FAQ that exact sizes are measured at a survey before anything is made.

6Pricing your quote#

Give a price range from the products and number of items, then confirm at a survey.

  • A typical price per window and per door type in each frame material.
  • Add for triple glazing, special glass and extras.
  • Add fitting difficulty (upstairs, no access).
  • Final price after measuring.

These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
