For car shipping and vehicle transport companies. Customers enter the vehicle, whether it runs, open or enclosed transport, and the pickup and drop-off addresses. The distance is worked out automatically.

2What your customers are asked#

Why these questions
- Distance (worked out by road) is the main part of the price.
- Does it run? decides whether you need a winch.
- Open or enclosed carrier changes the price and availability.
- How many vehicles helps you plan a load and give a multi-vehicle price.
3Set it up#
- Choose Car Shipping in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Car Shipping, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Region & photos: choose kilometres or miles.
- Settings → Region & photos: set the Furthest bookable date. People often book weeks ahead.
- The niche includes a second landing page,

5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Running: No, needs winching is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Transport: Not sure is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Distance: worked out by road between the two addresses; highlighted from 800 km as a long trip.
- Vehicles: 2 vehicles, 3 or more is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Pickup: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
- Location: shows whether the customer set an exact map pin, which makes directions easy.
What to look at first
- Distance is shown on every request, with a map of both addresses.
- Not running needs a winch; check your truck can do it.
- Enclosed requests are usually higher-value vehicles.
- 2 or more vehicles are worth answering first.

6Pricing your quote#
Most vehicle transport is priced per kilometre or mile, with extras.
- Price per km or mile, often lower per km for long distances.
- Add for enclosed transport, non-running vehicles and large vehicles (vans, 4x4s).
- Offer a lower price per vehicle for multiple vehicles.
- Say the price is door to door, or say where pickup and drop-off happen if not.
These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.
