1Overview#
For heating engineers and boiler installers. Customers say how urgent it is, what they need, their current boiler and fuel, what they'd like, bedrooms and bathrooms, where the boiler is, if it's moving, and extras, with photos of the boiler, its label and the flue.

2What your customers are asked#

Why these questions
- Urgency: no heating or hot water needs a fast reply, especially in winter.
- Current type and what they'd like decide the system (same type, combi, heat pump).
- Bedrooms and bathrooms set the boiler size.
- The data plate photo identifies the boiler model.
3Set it up#
- Choose Boiler Replacement in the setup wizard. Already using another niche? Your niche → Change niche, then confirm by typing Boiler Replacement, with "Load this niche's starter texts" ticked.
- Settings → Form fields: remove fuels or services you don't offer.
- Settings → Page texts: only mention gas or heating registrations you really hold, and follow your country's rules.
Recommended theme: Classic
Homeowners without heat want something simple and reassuring. Classic is friendly and clear.

- Mention warranties only as the manufacturer offers them.
5Reading a request#
Each request opens with a quick assessment: coloured flags for what matters most in this trade.
- Urgency: No heating or hot water is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job; Working but faulty is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Service: Replace my boiler, New install (no boiler now) is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Would like: A heat pump is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Move boiler: Yes is flagged as needing attention (cost, access or risk).
- Home size: 4 bedrooms, 5+ bedrooms is flagged as a bigger or more valuable job.
- Photos: green when every photo tile is filled, amber when only some are.
- Visit: highlighted when it is today or tomorrow, so you can plan quickly.
What to look at first
- No heating or hot water is flagged: call back fast.
- Heat pump interest is flagged as a bigger project.
- Moving the boiler adds pipe and flue work.
- Check the label photo for the model and age.

6Pricing your quote#
Price by boiler size and type, plus installation work.
- Boiler price by type and size from bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Add installation, flue and taking away the old boiler.
- Add moving the boiler, controls, radiators and a system flush.
- Repairs: a call-out price plus parts.
These are ways to think about price, not market prices. Use your own costs and local rates.

8Get more requests#
- Winter ads targeting "boiler not working".
- Offer yearly service reminders to past customers.
9Launch checklist#
- Only real registrations mentioned.
- Emergency number set (if offered).
- Fuels you don't work with removed.
- Send one test request from your phone and check it arrives by WhatsApp and email.
